Britannia Panopticon Music Hall 15th - 20th (11am - 5pm) 2 original New York Player Pianos " George & Henry "

G3 Growers 19th & 20th (11am - 4pm) Our latest decoration creation 'Custard' will be a Piano in a Shed just for DOD week ! 

Garnethill Synagogue 20th (10am - 4pm) Play their dinky wee organ in a very beautiful contemplative space.

Govanhill Baths 19th & 20th (11am - 4pm) Between tours you can play " Eric " the Baby Grand piano in the foyer.

Kelvingrove Bandstand & Amphitheatre 20th (10am - 4pm ) " Yogi " will be on stage from 10am ~ 1pm & 3pm ~ 4.30pm

Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church 19th (10am - 4pm) the 'Bechstein' Grand in the church Hall will be available to play

                                                                  20th (10am -1pm / 2-4pm ) Play their lovely 'Steck' Grand Piano in the church. 

the Leiper Gallery 14th - 20th (11am - 5pm) Play our lovely Daneman upright piano " Bob " in creative surroundings.

the Lighthouse 14th - 19th (10.30am - 5pm) 20th (12pm - 5pm) Play " MIng " in the main foyer.

Mackintosh Queen's Cross 14th - 18th (10am - 5pm) 19th - 20th (10am - 4pm) Steinway Grand & Broadwood upright.

                                                Both of these pianos will be available to play in between other scheduled musical events. 

the Mitchell Library 19th (10am - 4pm) Come & play " Parker " the Daneman Concert Grand ~ North St entrance.

Pollok House 20th (10.30am - 4pm ) Play the lovely Steinway Concert Grand piano in the 1st floor library.

Scotland Street School Museum 15th - 20th  (11am - 5pm) Have a tune on " Charlotte " in the cafe.

St. Margaret's Episcopal Church 14th - 20th (10am - 4pm) Play their dazzling white ' Hohner ' grand piano.

Theatre Royal 19th (10am - 3pm) Visit to the newly installed " Tampopo "  top floor by the outdoor roof terrace !

the White House Inn 15th & 16th / 19th & 20th (10am - 4pm) Play " Sprocket " after you stroll along the canal.

If you would like to join the Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society for their Come & Sing event on Saturday 26th September then come to All Saints Church, Jordanhill and bring a packed lunch !  

Ming ( usually installed in the Lighthouse ) will be providing the musical backup for the GCCS singers . . . who are looking for new blood.

We have had quite a few events this year with a piano for people to play including: the Gibson Street Gala, Summer LOD at Mackintosh Queens Cross & FORK Summer Gala ( All in the West End Festival ), BBC ' Music at the Quay ' Festival, Urban Roots Dear Green Festival at Queens Park Arena, the Scottish Recovery Network's ' Rights for Life ' Conference and the Health & Social Care Alliance's Conference at Murrayfield Stadium. There have been lots more Piano Donations & Installations too including: an old upright with plenty of life in it kindly donated by Biggars Music now finding its way into the Fred Paton Centre and another great upright now in the Windsor Halls.

Next Lids Open Day ( Autumn ) will be back in Mackintosh Queens Cross on Thur Oct 29th as part of the Mackintosh Festival. Book Now.
